You might seen balloon artists twisting balloon dog, balloon cat and etc in birthday parties but have you wonder which is the largest balloon sculpture made in this world? Well, a balloon artist, Jeremy Telford from Utah broke the Guinness Record last year for making the largest balloon dog in the world!
Jeremy Telford spent four days creating the balloon dog sculpture, which was display in Utah. The giant balloon dog measures 65ft (19.8m) by 32ft (9.8m) according to a Guinness World Record official.
GUESS HOW MANY BALLOONS HE USED?
8886!
His proud moment holding the microphone talking about his record breaking.
However, in Singapore, there is one amazing balloon artist, who is also my friend in balloon industry. She is well respected by many Singapore balloon artists and also top balloon artists from other countries. She is none other than the talented Lily Tan. She, too broke the record of Tallest Balloon Sculpture In Singapore 2 years ago!
Lily Tan and her team of 40 balloon artists from South East Asia created this magnificent pirate ship by using 25,000 inflated balloons, measuring 18m (length) x 12.5m (height) x 6m (width)!
Every year, i will be looking forward for her creative balloon display in Marina Square. Without fail, she will be organising this type of large balloon display for the public and broke her own personal records too!
This is why a lot of balloon artists respect her so much and want her to be mentor in balloon industry (even i look up to her). Looking forward for your next year project my idol!
