Nanyang Polytechnic Homecoming 2018
Last Friday, Nanyang Polytechnic celebrated homecoming for the alumnus. Basically, homecoming means to gather former students from the school and celebrates their moment as an alumnus and also to catch up with their friends from the school.
This homecoming event is quite special as they are actually celebrating their last homecoming in Nanyang so they gathered students from 1995 to 2018 to end the last event memorable.
My good friend, Wendy Yew who is also an emcee in Singapore asked me if i could support this event by creating balloon decoration, of course i would love to grace this important event!
We discussed the details of the balloon decoration and eventually came out with some designs which suits the event itself.
They wanted a blue and red spiral balloon arch so i did as what they requested. It was a normal balloon arch which the crew of The Balloon Thing can did it under 30 minutes (no joke!)
These 24 x star shape helium foils are no joke. I had to literally paste the year stickers onto the star foils one by one but after everything were done, it was an achievement for us. Our efforts were well received from my friend and the organisers.
We arranged the balloons like a walkway for the alumnus to enter. I felt that it should include a red carpet though. haha.
