You have seen many websites that stated ”Best kids party planner in Singapore”, “Quality party organiser in Singapore”, but how to differentiate with other kids party companies who provide the same services?
The Balloon Thing will guide you through on what to look out for in hiring a party planner in Singapore.
P.S This is not a discrimation post, this is a guide list based on my experiences.
1) REVIEWS
For me, I think reviews are the most important of all as the more good reviews, the more i will think that the company can provide a very good service in planning children’s kids party. Trust reviews that are from Facebook as they are genuinely clients who engaged you before. Reviews from website can be made up.

2) ACTIVITES THAT THEY CAN PROVIDE
You have seen many kids party planner providing magic shows, balloon sculpting, games and many more entertainment activities in Singapore. These are basic entertainment that a kids party planner can provide but how to differentiate the entertainers in Singapore? Kids magic shows nowadays need to be visual and very entertaining as the children are getting smarter and they are moving more towards the technology side so for my magic shows, i do include some LEDs to enhance the show even more and closer to the children generation nowadays. For balloon sculpting, it is different from the past whereby balloon artists in Singapore did one balloon heart, gun, sword, dog and flowers. Times are different now and quality of entertainment will gradually increases from time to time.

3) ATTRACTIVE PACKAGES
Many kids party planner provide kids party packages but some are way out of budget to some parents while some are not very attractive to some parents. Through my experience, parents would like to have affordable, a few entertainment activities in a package and longer entertainment time in a party. Surveys prove that Games, Magic Shows and Balloon Sculpting/ Face Painting are great hit in a kids party! So if you are planning for your kids’ birthday party, you can consider these 3 activities in a package.

4) SERVICE
Many kids party planners are usually busy from Monday to Sunday because their events are back to back but every customer is important to a company, therefore, busy is not an good excuse for slow replies. I have seen ‘xxx’ company with reviews in Facebook like ”They got no time to reply customer but got time to update Facebook page”. Bad attitude is also a no go in a company as you are a kids party planner that suppose to make the children happier, not frown to make the parents unhappy.

5) QUALITY
I think the quality of services or activities the company can provide is very important as well. How you can differentiate the quality is to simply look at the photos in the website and compare to other websites.
