What do you love about party entertainment?
Magic Show? Face-painting? Juggling? Balloon Sculpting?
From what i know, balloon sculpting are ranked the most favourite in the list. Adults love them too!
More than 200 years ago, balloons are created by Professor Michael Faraday in 1824 for experiment with hydrogen at the Royal Institution in London. Gradually down the years, balloons are re-introduced to include in kids parties or other event functions. Now you can see almost all the birthday parties that you have attended, have balloon artist to give away colourful and well-made balloon sculptures.
The first time i saw a balloon sculpture was 6 years old, when i was a young little kid going to my cousin’s birthday party. I saw this balloon artist twisting long balloons into a dog, cat, guns, swords and other animals that you could think of. At that point of time, it amazed me. I recalled when i was young, the feeling of able to receive my favourite animal, I felt elated.
I think to every child or adult, is the same thing that will happen to them every time. For example you want to buy a gift for your friend and you remembered that she likes dog, so you buy a plush dog for her and when she receives it, she will feel happy of course!
People loves balloons because a balloon artist can turns a long balloon to the kids’ favourite animals! Children are very attracted to vibrant colours and they get excited seeing colours as well.
I knew that many people still feel amazed by how a simple thing like balloons can transform in a shape. I felt excited as well thats why i learnt balloon twisting to continue to bring smiles to the children. Not only that, balloons now are decorated into a big sculpture or balloon decoration in an event or shopping mall!
